The Patriarchal Cross first started to appear during the Byzantine Empire in the 10th Century. For a long time, it was thought to have been given to Saint Stephen by the pope as a symbol of the apostolic Kingdom of Hungary. The top beam is said to represent the plaque bearing the inscription "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews". Those whom adorn this cross are reminded of the great history of Christianity. A beautiful gift for all occasions. Available in polished stainless steel with or without gold plating.
